. BE/B Tech/MCA/ (M Sc Computers) – with the knowledge in computer fundamentals (Java Scripting/VB Scripting/PHP, SQL and its dialects, OS, SDLC).

. 2+ Years of Experience in Software testing (Functional and Non Functional testing) out of which at least 1 year experience in Automation.

. Proficient in Testing the Client/Server and Java based applications products.
· Understand product / application features / requirements/business scenarios, define Test Strategy
. Expertise on Test design Techniques and Defect Prevention Techniques
. Experienced in preparing test cases, executing the test cases, reporting the bugs and Bug Reviews.
· Expertise in the back end - database testing.
· Proven user expertise with software testing tools including test management tools and defect tracking tools
· Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external teams.
. Self motivated, proactive, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Desirable :
Preferably healthcare domain experience
Scripting languages and script development
Excellent skills on at least one Operating System (Windows/Linux)
Excellent skills on at least one Database (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL)
Excellent skills on at least one Application Server (Tomcat/Jboss/WebSphere)
Experience in performance testing of Thick Client application/Web Application
Knowledge in at least one functional testing tool like QTP/WebFT/TestPartner/RFT/Selenium/Watir

Experience in triaging issues in a test or production environment
